You have exactly the same problem as I do, but it isn't only about anime - also video games, TV shows, music etc... it's hard to find something new once you're used to seeing something you've known for a long time :D but if you want to know some good titles, I can suggest you to watch Attack on Titan, Steins; Gate, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Shakugan no Shana, Gyakuten Saiban (Pheonix Wight: Ace Attorney).
